Oman grants visa-free entry to 103 countries
The Sultanate of Oman continues to facilitate access for international visitors with the announcement of visa-free entry for citizens of 103 countries. This initiative represents a significant step towards promoting tourism and making Oman an even more accessible destination.
On Wednesday, the Omani police announced that citizens of 103 countries will be able to visit the Sultanate visa-free for up to 10 days. Visitors will simply need to ensure they have a confirmed hotel booking, valid medical insurance and a return ticket.
This announcement follows the Sultanate’s resumption of the issuance of tourist visas for tours organised by hotels and travel agencies, an initiative that had been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Until recently, access to the country had been restricted to Omani citizens, residents and holders of valid work visas. With the resumption of international flights on 1 October, Oman has begun to gradually reopen its tourism.
